Brian Weiss
Hi, I’m Brian.
I’ve been a Buford resident since 2010. Single Dad with two boys, Brady and Baylor. Both are students at Buford City Schools. Professionally, I am the professional development manager at Woodgrain Distribution. I love it! I am responsible for our strategy around professional development for our 2200 employees. It’s kind of a dream job for me. Personally, I love my boys! I am an avid outdoorsman. I love sports (anything competitive). I enjoy reading and learning. I love my Auburn Tigers! Mostly, I love people. I love helping others. If ever I can help you in any way, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Many years ago, I read a book called The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and was inspired to create a world of abundance through service. We can all build a world of abundance for ourselves by helping others. This project is a way for me to celebrate this community and the people in it while I learn about who lives here and how I can help them. If we were to all take pause and show interest in others, none of us would want for anything. Collectively, we have so much to offer one another.
The Faces of Buford is a celebration of all the people who live here and positively impact our community in some way. It may be by their positive attitude and energy. It may be by the business they’ve brought to our community. It may be their role directly serving our community. The reality is, we have a great community because of the people who live here and it’s my desire to highlight the great people here and introduce you all to each other. My hope is that this project creates closer community here in Buford. I welcome you to join me in authoring the story of Buford, as told by the people who live here, one smiling face at a time.
