Hey! My name is Amy Isidoro and moved to Buford, GA from New York with my husband 7 years ago. I’m a mama to my 3 beautiful kids and the General Manager to Oy, the Breakfast Brunch Restaurant. My oldest daughter is in 1st grade at Buford Academy and I love the community that surrounds us. I love being home and trying new foods.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Married to my sweet guy, Lorenzo for 7 years. We’re out numbered with our daughter Gabriella, son Luca and youngest baby girl Emma who just turned 1!
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I’m the general manager at Oy in Buford, with the enormous pancakes. I love to see our guest sharing a meal with us, as if they are at a friends house. I always tell my team, the number one priority is everyone leaves here with a “Disney experience”. I’m a hermit crab at home, so seeing familiar faces and sharing a meal with us fills my cup!

Back to NY for a good bagel!

Friends, House and stand up comedy’s -Especially Sebastian Maniscalco!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be understanding and upfront. We didn’t all walk the same path.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Travel cross states and try their hometown dish.

Sebastian Maniscalco & I would be enjoying a huge pancake and laughing over a cup of coffee. Life is busy and hectic at times. It would nice to laugh for an hour!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Level of care for our schools.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Enjoying the next season of parenthood, being a personal taxi for sporting events and playing a board game at the dinner table.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I love to color! My brain has 1,000 channels on and coloring helps me relax.

My hometown – Palermo, Sicily!

October! Halloween is celebrated all month long in this house.
