My name is Deborah Long, but most people call me Dede. I’m a Christian, a wife, and a proud mom of a large blended family. I am also a Breast Cancer survivor. After my journey with cancer I went back to school to become an esthetician as a way to give back and pour into other women. After working for others, but still wanting to do more, I opened and founded Arabella Aesthetics in Buford. My faith and my journey inspired me to open a business where I could pour into others, give back to my community, and help people feel confident and cared for. This year our team hosted a free facial day for teachers in Hall county and Buford, and this month we held a breast cancer awareness facial day where all proceeds were donated to the Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer. Although my business has only been open for two years, we are continuing to grow and build strong community connections.
I currently hold the title of Mrs. Buford 2025 and will be competing in Mrs. Georgia America in June of 2026. My platform focuses on breast cancer awareness and women’s health advocacy, encouraging women to listen and advocate for their own health. I was nearly misdiagnosed myself and had I not trusted my instincts my story could of been very different. My hope is to help women find their voice, take charge of their health and never ignore the signs their body gives them.
