Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have two siblings, my brother James is a sophomore at BHS, and my sister Rosemary is in third grade at Buford Academy. Our parents are Jason and Sarah Hales.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be attending UGA to pursue a BS in Process Operations Engineering and an MBA. I will also be opening up my own wire recycling facility, Generations Metal Recycling, here in Buford.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Friends and Taquito Potosino are my favorite Buford restaurants.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would go to Montana because it is so pretty and I love to snow ski.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is Top Gun. My favorite TV show is Gold Rush.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
I would say pursue your passion and don’t worry about what other people think about it.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would have lunch with John Sacco. He is a knowledgeable recycling industry veteran who I could learn lots from. I would meet with him at Rico’s
What is your favorite thing about our community?
My favorite thing about Buford is the people. Buford is such a tight knit and supportive community, which stands apart in this day and age.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself back in Buford running my recycling facility.
What is something on your bucket list?
Going to Alaska is one of my bucket list items.
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Morgan Wallen
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
June is my favorite month. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and is also the best day of the year.

My Grandpa has always inspired me to be better.
