My name is Dan Ryan. After being an automotive technician for 18 years, my wife Shara and I opened our automotive repair business in Buford in 2015. As a technician, I realized that being a small part of a large organization did not give me much control over how people were treated, including both customers and co-workers. This was the catalyst to starting our own service and repair company. Here, we have full control over how our team members and customers are treated and we always strive for a positive experience for everyone. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, working out, riding my mountain or dirt bike, and generally being outside.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married to Shara for eight years, and we have two sons. Aidan is three years old and Liam is one. We are looking forward to getting more sleep in the future.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Shara and I own Team Ryan Automotive right here in Buford, and we both really enjoy being able to help people in their time of need. Break downs and vehicle repairs are usually not planned and almost never fun. But working with an honest and reputable repair facility is where we come in. Our focus is not on pushing the sale today but on building the relationship for tomorrow. Through meaningful conversation, education, and compassion we talk our customers through our recommendations, help with prioritizing, and then execute the desired repairs. I believe the culture of a company is a reflection of the owner. Starting with honesty as a cornerstone, a strong team has been assembled and empowered to make the right decisions here at Team Ryan. Growing and developing my team is incredibly satisfying. The more we grow, the more people we can help and the more the company grows. It is cyclic and I cannot wait to see where we are in five years! www.teamryanautomotive.com
