We have been married a little over 15 years now and were high-school sweethearts growing up. We have three boys – Brody 11, Bryson 10 and Blaze 6, two dogs – Daisy and JoJo and we live in Downtown Buford. We moved here close to three years ago but have been involved in Buford City Schools since 2018. We fell in love with Buford calling it our “bubble” that we never like to leave! For the past six years, we have been heavily involved travel Baseball with Adam head coaching and now we are taking on our next adventure opening the Buford Station Creamery on Main Street in downtown Buford.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
We are a very close family. We all support each other on whatever we do and no matter what is going on, we always make time for one another. Family always comes first in our home.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Jayme owns a talent agency, J Pervis Talent Agency since 2007, which is now also located in downtown Buford. Adam got out of the Marine Corps in 2014 and has been in Engineering and Professional recruiting and just came off a security detail contract in July. Together we opened Buford Station Creamery as we felt that an ice cream shop was the one thing missing in our community.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
This is a super tough question. You really can’t go wrong with all the great options in Buford but lately, we have really enjoyed Bare Bones Roof top.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
We moved to Buford in 2020, but have been a part of the community since 2018 when our oldest began school.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Adam: Definitely Coach Bryant Appling. I had the privilege coaching with Coach last year when our sons played on the same 10u football team. I have never seen an individual with a work ethic like that man. It’s incredible and it’s something that I admire. Jayme: Keith Jenkins would definitely be mine. I recently met him as a connection for decorations for the creamery. He has been so interesting and I have learned so much more about Buford’s history and the buildings and homes around Buford from knowing him.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
We would love to go to Alaska. We love the outdoors and seeing Alaska has always been on our wish list – hopefully including seeing the Northern Lights.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
We would both have so many places we want to visit together… Alaska & Montana among many others.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Adam: Billy Strings or Drake, depending on what day it is. Jayme: Morgan Wallen
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The Bona Allen Tannery. We love how there are still hints of the success that the Allen family once had in this city.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Adam: Hands down, Matthew McConaughey at Taco Jalisco Jayme: Bud & Gigi Maughon to Bare Bones of course. Their story is so interesting and I would love to hear it all.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We both agree that Buford is such a unique city of its own. However, no one can deny that the school system is the heart and soul of the town and we are both fortunate to have our kids attend the schools here.

We hope to have our businesses thriving and also be traveling.
