My name is Chris Guven. I am 37 years old, I have my wife of 8 years who I love dearly. We have beautiful twins. Emanuel and Eva and they are 5. I work at Guven’s Fine Jewelry and have since I finished high school 18 years ago with my family every day.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have my wife of 8 years who I love so much, twins named Emanuel and Eva who are 5. I work with my family everyday. Dad named Isa Mom named Behice brother named Jon and sister named Sabrina
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I currently work at Guven Fine Jewelry and been there full time since I was 19 years old. I really do love being able to interact with my customers and being able to be with my family everyday is amazing. Where else could I do that

I love seasons 52, bare bones, pappadeuxs, Frankie’s
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Been in Buford since 2001 when we opened the jewelry store on Mall of ga Blvd, before that we were in the outlet mall by Gwinnett place.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
My dad is a very interesting man.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Would love to go to New Zealand. Always seen pictures and supposed to be the prettiest place in the world.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I watch friends almost every night. Anything marvel on a movie or true stories about sports icons
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Dad told me when I had just started and went and bought something expensive for myself. If you work hard you get to afford nice things in life. Working hard isn’t easy but worth it, now having a family of my own I want to always give them the world and I understand.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Love working, become addicted to the job but want to be there more for my kids stuff as they get older. Owning our own business is amazing but doesn’t leave a lot of time to get away.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Mumford and sons, Adele, Sia
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Elon Musk, man is genius. Just let him talk for an hour and listen. He can pick where we go.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
As big as Buford had gotten, it still is a small community if that makes sense.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
At the jewelry store. Hopefully doing some side business deals.
