I have lived in Buford for almost 30 years. I own a Remodeling Company called Holland Design and Construction, Inc. I enjoy helping homeowners create a home or remodel their current home into the living space of their dreams. I pride myself on doing quality home construction so much so that most of my business is from repeat homeowners.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married for 28 years, my wife Jenny teaches at Buford Middle School and both of my children graduated from Buford High School. My daughter, Holly graduated from KSU. She is married and works for Uline. My son, Hunter graduated for WKU where he played football. He is now working as a financial planner.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I enjoy helping homeowners create a home that they can enjoy for many years. As they say, “home is where the heart is” so it is important to me that I make the remodeling process as easy as possible for homeowners. My goal is for them to rest assure that their job will be done with quality materials and craftsmanship.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Bravos is a smaller restaurant that I go to often.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Almost 30 years
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Paris because I have never been there and I’m curious how it would to visit.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite movie is Taken. My TV shows is anything on HGTV – I like watching how other remodelers work.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
To treat all work done on homes like you are working on your own personal home and do quality work – do not cut corners or do sloppy work.

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
I like easy listening music.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I like the small town feel and when I go out I normally see someone that my kids grew up with.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still living in Bufor and remodeling homes.

Mosy people know this but I love to fish and spend time on the water.

Any beach – I like the Ocean.
