Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Married to Danielle with two kids, Beau and Genevieve (Gigi).

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have my own Country Financial office in Buford. I love the fact I get to help families like me every single day.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Johnny’s Pizza, Rico’s World Kitchen and Barebones Steakhouse

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived in Buford my entire life and worked here my entire professional career.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Maybe not most interesting but one of the most influential people in our community is Dexter Wood. He was the AD and old football coach at Buford. He came in and preached family which Buford had always believed in and brought it to the next generation of Bufordites. He invested many years in the lives of young men that have made there way back to Buford and pouring back into this community.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Ireland/Scotland. I have always been infatuated with the culture and history here and I heard they have some great golf there!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I’d have to say Friends. It’s a great show on family and community. It shows that family doesn’t necessarily have to be blood and it’s one of the funniest shows every made!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Love everyone around you like it was the last time you’d get to see them. Also, be kind to people. You never know what a simple smile or hello could do for someone else.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Play a round of golf at Augusta National and TPC Sawgrass.

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Zac Brown Band, Chris Stapleton, Lil Wayne or Red Hot Chili Peppers

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
It’s not necessarily the businesses that bring nostalgia, it’s the community in general. I have seen my community go through a lot and always come together as one. I want to be a part of a community like that and not one that breaks apart when tough situations happen. The business aspect will follow suite.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Larry Bird or Michael Jordan. I love their competitive nature and would want to know what sacrifices they had to make to be the best. Also, I would like to meet Phil Michelson to learn how to “hit bombs” on the golf course.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The sense of Family. As much as Buford has grown, there is still the core community that understands what it take to keep Buford the special place that it is.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Professionally, I see myself still at Alfa Insurance being the go to guys in Buford. We have a lot of work to do but That is my goal. Personally, I see myself spending a lot of time on sports fields with the kids and enjoying watching them grow!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I am pretty much an open book. I am too boring to be interesting!

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Negril, Jamaica

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
July (Birthday Month and 4th of July). Christmas. December 31st (Anniversary).

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
The steaks I cook.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids and wife.

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
The salty air at the beach.
